Bess Nielsen and Jan Machenhauer founded Epice in 1999 and based their design team in Copenhagen where they had both gone to design school. They are Danish by birth and find the city of Copenhagen to be a point of inspiration for Epice, specifically the city’s vibrant intensity of color. Epice designs extraordinary printed shawls and scarves and offers new and original designs in exciting color ways each season made of wool, cashmere, silk, linen or cotton. Made in India, Epice celebrates classic Scandinavian design with Indian refinement and intricacy.
