Carter Smith is an extraordinary American dye artist whose work is celebrated all over the world. He works in silk, silk chiffon, velvet, and cotton. The work is colorful, complex, and masterful in it’s intricacies. He creates dresses, jackets, long coats, shirts and tunics. He has also recently started creating wonderful thermal cotton t-shirts, leggings, and yoga pants. Here are some of the pieces I have chosen for this season. All of the pieces are one of a kind.
